CONTEST RULES

On LOULOU web Contest Sponsors are L’Oréal Paris Bare Naturale, sweetspot.ca, louloumagazine.com and LOULOU Magazine, a division of Rogers Publishing Inc. (collectively the “Contest Sponsors”). |

Contest starts at 12:01 am (EST) on January 4, 2008 and continues until 11:59 pm (EST) on February 20, 2008, the Contest Closing Date. No purchase necessary. Only one (1) entry per person per email address.
(a) To enter, go to www.louloumagazine.com/barenaturale, complete in full the entry ballot, and submit it as instructed, no later than the Contest Closing Date. When submitting your entry form, you can obtain 4 (four) extra chances to win by correctly answering the questions that will be presented to you. Find links to the clues to answer these questions on the www.louloumagazine.com/barenaturale by finding the URLs to the clue locations under the stickers in your January Loulou Magazine.
(b) Random draws by a representative of LOULOU Magazine (“Rogers”) from all entries received will be made at approximately 12:00 noon (EST) on March 14 2008 at its offices at 1200 avenue McGill College, Suite 800, Montreal, QC, H3B 4G7. Selected eligible entrants will be contacted by email or by telephone.
(c) If any selected entrant cannot be reached within 15 days, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a Release of Liability as specified below, another entrant will be selected. |

Participants are eligible to win one of the following prizes:
(i) Grand Prize
A (1) One-week shopping spree for (2) two in Paris, including airfare from the international airport closest to the winner’s residence, a 6-night hotel stay (2-person room), suppers, $2 000 spending money, a LOULOU guide of trendy places to visit, and a collection of Bare Naturale products.
The winner and his/her guest must travel together and take the same itinerary. The prize does not include ground transportation, taxes, correspondence, travel insurance, pocket money other than that already included in the prize, tips, meals other than those already included in the prize, and other hotel fees not specified a being part of the prize. The winner and his/her guest are responsible for obtaining their travel documents like passport or travel visa before the departure date. The contest sponsors cannot be held responsible if the winner and(or) his/her guest is refused entry into the country of destination or reentry into Canada for whatever reason. The Contest Sponsors do not assume any responsibility in case of cancellation, delays, and suspension or schedule changes for the trip after emission of the tickets for whatever reason out of their control. Transportation and accommodations will be secured according to availability, restricted periods, governmental rules and restrictions, hotel, flight, airport or other mode of transportation restrictions and the rules that apply to them. Other restrictions may apply. All travel arrangements will be made by the Contest Sponsors and trip must be taken on the dates specified by the Contest Sponsors or their representatives. Otherwise it will be lost. This decision will be to the discretion of the Sponsors. In the eventuality that the winner or his/her guest are unable to travel on the dates confirmed by the Contest Sponsors for whatever reason, all non-utilized part of the prize will be lost.
The total value of the Grand prize is of $12,000, The actual retail value may vary according to the winner’s starting point and the flight schedules. No financial compensation will be offered if the real value of the prize is different from the estimated value of the prize indicated in this document.
(ii) Runner-up Prizes
One of the (20) twenty sweetspot.ca eco-bags, including the complete collection of Bare Naturale products along with other surprises, for a total value of 150$. |

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prizes. |

To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question and may also need to return a signed release of liability and acknowledgment form. In the event the selected entrant is a minor, the entrant’s parent or legal guardian will be deemed to be the entrant who must meet all contest eligibility requirements and who may accept the prize on behalf of the minor. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes. |

By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsors and/or their advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation. |

This contest is open to residents of Canada who are the legal age of majority in their province of residence excluding employees of LOULOU Magazine, Rogers Publishing Inc., sweetspot.ca, L’Oréal Paris and any of their parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, other contest suppliers, advertisers and judges, plus those with whom they are domiciled. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. |

No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. A list of the winners will be posted on the website www.louloumagazine.com following the Contest Closing Date. |

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsors. Contest Sponsors take no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsors and will not be returned. |

Contest Sponsors are collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Contest Sponsors with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. Please see Rogers’ Privacy Policy at www.rogers.com for information on its policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information. |

By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsors, their advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize(s). Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice. |

This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Contest Sponsors or any of them, subject to the authority of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the contest. The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein. |

(a) Contest Sponsors assume no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in its/their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the email portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Contest Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
(b) If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s). |

Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties to reach a settlement. Any applicable decision to be made by Contest Sponsors affecting the conduct of this contest are subject to a ruling of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec. |
